Father, Son and HusbandFather, Son and Husband   
It dripped all over my hand, the wax from the candle holder. Not hot enough to leave a mark. It settles, hardens, and I look at it for a while. The time you bought some candles for whenever the power went down, as it did quite often down the street where we lived. A loose connection, they said. But you always called them useless good-for-nothings, those workers who always came down and repaired it. I peel the wax from my hand and let it fall into the bin. It is interesting what things bring back memories. I sit down, and rest my head in my hands for a while, that being a habit of mine. Not even two months Father, Son and Husband
in Perspectives on 11/28/05
Autumn RomanceFall is my favorite time of year. The air is crisp with the smell of autumn and the breeze is brisk and cool. Leaves fall from the tress in sheets, like pouring rain. The trees' leaves fall like tears, as though they're remembering the freshness of new spring and the green of summer and mourning the coming of winter snow. Even the crickets and birds that sing seem to slow their songs to draw notice to the trees' bittersweet beauty. Glorious gold, royal red, fiery orange mix among the emerald pines and blue junipers and the yellow jade of still–thriving grass. Wood smoke brings to mind warm apple pie, dinner at Grandmother's, reminiscing over Autumn Romance

Are We Impressed?Are We Impressed?   
I take some time to look at the pictures I drew in my mind  And the conclusions I sketched in my subconciousness  It all adds up to one flawed and simple design  If you multiply the sum by the pointlessness  I convince myself to take a quick recount of the vote  But the total I arrive at is always the same  I don't want to jump on the bandwagon or rock the boat  By saying that everything here is insane   
When you look at the big picture  When you see what's said and done  Our minds have all been captured  And the politics have won
